At 11:17am on July 3, 2009, Paul Fouse said…: Congrats to Wichita customers Geron and Amy Bird, Chris Coburn and Jeff Hiss on their recent summit of Mt Rainier via the Kautz Glacier route. This route included crevasse navigation, a technical headwall where icefall struck several members of the party and static electricity causing snow pickets to hum! All returned safely with new skills and stories and a few photos. Congratulations and thanks for letting Backwoods help with your outfitting.
